Backups

Reqad can take full backups of a hosting account - files, databases and mail - so you can restore or migrate with confidence.

Back up an account

Open the Backup section.
Select the account to back up.
Download the resulting archive or keep it on the server.

What's included

The account's home directory and website files
Its databases
Email accounts and messages (when email is enabled)

Migrating in

Coming from cPanel? Use the Backup → Transfer wizard to pull domains, PHP settings and databases from a remote cPanel server over SSH.

Store backups off-server for disaster recovery. A backup on the same VPS won't help if the VPS itself is lost.
